Development of Degradable Plastics Relies on Standardization of Industrialization

The 2007 annual meeting of the China Plastics Association's Degradable Plastics Special Committee is set to take place in Beijing soon. During the event, experts from across the country will gather to discuss the future direction of degradable plastics in China. A key focus of the discussion will be on accelerating industrialization and standardization, which has become a shared goal among industry professionals. Liao Zhengzheng, president of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association, emphasized that the successful development of degradable plastics relies on the seamless integration of domestic and international research, production, and innovation. He pointed out that China is currently working on establishing and revising a series of national standards for degradable plastics. Through collaboration between industry experts, companies, and market demonstrations, the sector has gradually found a suitable path toward industrialization. This process has also helped lay the groundwork for standardization, creating a mutually reinforcing relationship between the two areas. Liao expressed hope that the industry would continue to build platforms for collaboration between production, education, and research. He encouraged more investment in basic resin development, as well as enhanced research into material modification, aiming to strengthen China’s independent innovation capabilities in the field. At the same time, he reminded participants to combine foreign experiences with local conditions, ensuring that technological choices remain adaptable and not overly rigid. With the growing awareness of environmental protection, China’s degradable plastics industry has experienced rapid growth in recent years. In 2006, the output of biodegradable plastics was only 30,000 tons. By 2010, it is projected to reach 100,000 tons in capacity, with demand expected to surpass 200,000 tons. Today, green and degradable plastics are already widely used in Olympic venues, showcasing their practical value. As the plastics industry continues to evolve, the future of degradable plastics in packaging applications looks very promising.

Vacuum Feeder

The ZKS vacuum feeder uses a vacuum pump to pump air, so that the inlet of the suction nozzle and the whole system are in a certain vacuum state. The powder and particles are sucked into the nozzle along with the outside air to form a material air flow, and then reach the hopper through the suction pipe. Separation of gas and material in the middle. The separated material enters the receiving equipment. Conveying and discharging are accomplished through the continuous opening and closing of the pneumatic three-way valve, and the opening and closing of the pneumatic three-way valve is controlled by the control center.
