Digital Megohm Meter Usage Safety Precautions

When using only digital megohmmeters , read the following safety precautions to avoid personal injury and to prevent damage to the product or any other product connected to it. To avoid possible dangers, this product can only be used within the specified range.

Only qualified technicians can perform repairs.

- Prevent fire or personal injury

Use the appropriate power cord. Use only power cords that are specific to this product and meet the specifications of this product.

Connect and disconnect properly. Do not connect or disconnect test leads when the test leads are connected to live terminals.

Ground the product. In addition to the digital megohmmeter grounded through the power cord grounding conductor, the grounding post of the product enclosure must be grounded. In order to prevent electric shock, the grounding conductor must be connected to the ground. Before connecting to the input or output terminal of this product, make sure that the product is properly grounded.

Pay attention to the rating of all terminals. To prevent fire or electric shock, pay attention to all ratings and markings on this product. Before connecting this product, please read this product's instruction manual to learn more about ratings.

Do not operate without a digital Meggar cover. If the cover or panel is removed, do not operate this product.

Use a suitable fuse. Only use fuses of the type and rating specified in this product.

Avoid contact with bare circuits and charged metals. When the product is powered, do not touch bare contacts and parts.

Do not operate in the event of a suspicious failure. If you suspect that the product is damaged, please check with our maintenance personnel and do not proceed.

Do not operate in wet conditions.

Do not operate in explosive atmospheres.

Keep the product surface clean and dry.
