The first chemical industry circulation summit forum organized and summarized the status quo of the competitiveness of three industries in China's chemical circulation industry

From the 6th to the 7th, the first chemical circulation development summit forum attended by management personnel, economic experts and chemical circulation enterprises was held in Beijing.
According to the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, the total current value of China's chemical products in 2004 reached 1,260.2 billion yuan, which is about 10% of the total domestic GDP. The chemical market can be said to be China's largest market. To summarize and evaluate the competitiveness of the chemical trading market, chemical wharf, and chemical storage industries in the chemical circulation industry in China, and to discuss strategies to promote the healthy and rapid development of the three industries, which have become an urgent need for people both inside and outside the industry. According to Yang Huaxiong, director of the Department of Water and Transportation of the Ministry of Transport, there are currently about 300 terminals for crude oil, refined oil, liquefied gas, and bulk chemicals handling, accounting for 8% of the total number of berths along the coast; handling capacity exceeds 200 million tons, accounting for 10% of the total coastal capacity. In the near future, the country will focus on strengthening the water transportation capacity building in the three regions of Bohai Rim, Yangtze River Delta, and South China, and Shanghai and Dalian. In the Bohai Rim area, 200,000 to 300,000-ton chemical berths in Dalian, Qingdao, and Caofeidian are to be built; in the Yangtze River Delta, 250,000-ton chemical quays and pipelines are to be built. Crude oil in the Yangtze River will be gradually replaced by pipelines; the Pearl River Delta will Focus on building 150,000-300,000-ton and 80,000- 150,000-ton chemical docks in Huizhou, Zhuhai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Dongguan.
At the forum, representatives made in-depth discussions on how to improve the competitiveness of the chemical distribution industry.
Another content of the forum is the publication of "China Chemical Market Competitiveness Evaluation", "China Liquid Chemical Terminal Competitiveness Evaluation" and "China's Liquid Chemical Storage Competitiveness Evaluation" in 2005. There are 23 chemical markets, 15 chemical docks and 25 chemical storage companies in the country.
