China National Heavy Duty Truck's AMT model has been put on the market. Dongfeng Tianlong's AMT model will be put on the market in April 2011. The newly-launched joint truck flagship models are all standard AMT gearboxes.
At the FAW Liberation Business Conference, we saw a liberated J6P 6x4 tractor with self-contained manual transmission CA9TB1160A (AMT) independently developed by FAW. It was developed based on the 9T160 that has been put on the market for many years. The introduction on the bulletin board has the advantages of high reliability, fuel economy, and ease of operation. This AMT version of the J6 uses a 2011 J6P cab, and the interior is also upgraded. The interior of the car is refined, and the LCD instrument is also upgraded. The added functions include fuel consumption history information query, maintenance reminder, etc. The car can also be equipped with high-end options such as an optional TV, refrigerator, 3G smart information system, electrically heated seats, individual heaters, and more. 
Another liberation AMT model is the new Dawei AMT version from Qingdao Liberation. It is also a 6x4 tractor, and the cab is a new Dawei 2010 flat-floor cab with some lightweight design. From the bulletin board of the site, we can see that this AMT Xindawei uses the Xichai CA6DL2-35E3 engine, FAW CA10TAX190A gearbox, and the design of a small leaf spring is one of its lightweight measures. It is understood that the benefits of AMT are to reduce fuel consumption, reduce the labor intensity of drivers, and reduce the demand for drivers.
