Auto parts supplier Denso Corporation (Denso) today announced that it has appointed Yoshikazu Makino for the European branch of the International Denso (Denso International Europe BV), president and chief executive officer, the appointment since June 22, 2011 entered into force . Denso International Europe is located in Weesp, the Netherlands, and is the headquarters of Denso Europe.
Makino is an executive director of Denso. He will take over the work of Shigehiro Nishimura, who will be responsible for the company's Asia Pacific affairs.
Previously, Makino oversaw the day-to-day affairs of the Global Business Planning Division of Denso. During his tenure, the company’s regional management capabilities in emerging markets such as China, India, and Brazil have increased.
