The report shows that in the first half of 2014, the company’s operating income jumped 12.6% to US$584.6 million (3.6 billion yuan), net profit increased 28.5% to US$263.5 million; sales revenue fell 3.3% to US$4.1 billion. It is related to the loss of foreign currency exchange losses.
Among them, sales of high-end products jumped 56.2% to 1.76 billion US dollars, accounting for 43% of total sales. Passenger car tire sales rose 5.1%, while commercial vehicle tire sales fell 7.4%, and overall sales rose 1.8%.
