Introduction

The lamella clarifier is also known as an inclined plate sediment tank. It is a high-efficiency combined settling tank that uses many densely packed inclined tubes in the sedimentation area to allow suspended impurities in water to settle. As the water rises along the inclined tubes, the separated sludge descends along the tubes due to gravity and is discharged in concentration. This type of tank can improve sedimentation efficiency by 50~60%, and it can increase treatment capacity by 3~5 times within the same area. It can be designed with different flow rates of inclined plate sediment devices according to the raw wastewater test report, and usually requires flocculant addition.

The inclined plate sediment tank has a 60° dip angle to the ground. When water flows up along the inclined tube, the sludge and suspended solids can settle onto the inclined tube, then slide back to the sludge layer relying on gravity, settle into the sludge collecting hopper, and flow into the sludge tank via a sludge pipe for separate treatment or comprehensive utilization. The supernatant fluid gradually rises to the top.

 Application scope

2), Coal mine, mineral processing waste water all can make the turbidity from 500-1500 mg/L reduce to 5 mg/L.
3), Printing and dyeing, bleach and dye etc effluent chroma removing rate reach 70~90%, COD remove rate 50-70%.
4), Tannery, food etc industrial sewage COD remove rate 50~80%, impurity solids remove rate above 90%.

4. Structure introduction
1), Inclined tube material : PVC, PE, PP ,inclined plate: carbon steel lining
2), Inclined tube cross section is regular hexagon, inclined plate cross section can be parallel-plate.
3), The cleaning water area height is 1.0-1.5m above the inclined pipe top, the water distribution zone below the bottom no less than 1.0-1.5m, mechanical discharge sludge, the water distribution zone height should more than 1.6m, convenient install and maintenance.
4), The Re number in water flow less than 500, Fr number is 10-3-10-5 in inclined pipe.
