Recently, Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. and Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the AQSIQ according to the requirements of the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall and the Implementation Measures for the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall, from 2017. From September 28th, the following vehicles were recalled, totaling 1,635 vehicles.
(1) Some of the 2015 and 2016 Dongfeng Infiniti Q50L vehicles produced from October 23, 2014 to May 5, 2017, totaling 1,132 vehicles.
(II) Some of the 2015 Dongfeng Infiniti QX50 vehicles produced from January 26, 2015 to March 25, 2017, totaling 455 vehicles.
(3) Part of the 2014 Infiniti Q50 vehicles imported from March 17, 2014 to January 9, 2017, totaling 48 vehicles.
Due to the manufacturer's manufacture, the gas generator of the driver's side frontal airbag has the possibility of welding. When the vehicle collides and triggers the airbag, the airbag cannot be fully inflated due to insufficient inflation, which increases the risk of injury to the driver and poses a safety hazard. Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. and Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will conduct free inspections for vehicles within the scope of the recall and replace the improved gas generators as necessary to eliminate potential safety hazards.
Relevant users should drive as safely as possible to avoid collision of vehicles. If there is any abnormality, please go to the repair station for maintenance immediately, and contact the dealer for repair as soon as possible after the recall operation begins.
