OPRA is funded to develop marine generators

OPRA has recently received technical innovation funding from the Dutch government for the development of a new generation of marine generators. It is reported that this new generation of marine generators will strengthen OPRA's existing offshore business and open the door for application to the ship market.

OPRA has long been developing and manufacturing OPRA has long developed and manufactured steam turbine-based generator sets with a power range of 2 MW. The parent company is headquartered in Norway and operates mainly in the Netherlands.
