Palatine moves into new station

In early May, the Palatine Fire Department officially closed its old Station 81 located at 455 W. Dundee Road and relocated to its new facility at 1215 N. Quentin Road. The new station, which is situated on the corner of Quentin Road and Echo Lane, was built to better serve the growing population in Palatine’s northwestern area. According to the Palatine Fire Department website: > "Construction is nearly complete on this new fire station. It replaces the old Station 81 on Dundee Road with a more strategically located facility that can better meet the needs of 21st-century fire and rescue operations. We moved into the station and began responding to calls from this location on May 2, 2011." Station 81 is staffed by three firefighters: a Lieutenant and two firefighter/paramedics. They typically respond with either the quint or the ambulance, depending on the type of call. Additional support units are dispatched from other stations when needed. In addition to the quint and ambulance, the station also houses the Reserve Squad and the Reserve Command vehicle. Oscillating Granulator

YK series oscillating granulator is mainly consisted of drive motor, feeding hopper, rotor, sieve and discharging chute. Wet mixtures of powders or big granules/agglomerates are fed into the granulating chamber via feeding hopper. The oscillating motion of rotor presses the material through the sieve to get required size of granules. The finished granules is discharged into the barrel via the discharging chute.
