Multi-vehicle crash in Niles, 7-10-20

A high-speed collision occurred on Friday evening in Niles, damaging six vehicles but resulting in only minor injuries. The incident took place on Oakton Street as the driver was heading westbound toward Prospect Street.

The police initially did not disclose the speed of the black Volkswagen Jetta, which was driven by a 34-year-old man from Des Plaines. However, it was later revealed that the vehicle somehow veered into the eastbound lanes just east of Prospect Street and collided with a white GMC SUV. The SUV was being driven by a 49-year-old woman from Morton Grove.
