On December 10th, 2020, around 11 PM, the Fox Lake Fire Department responded to a serious fire at the 35000 block of N. Hunt in Ingleside. The first-arriving units faced intense flames, multiple rescues, and water supply challenges. Command quickly mobilized additional resources, including tanker trucks and extra personnel. Tragically, two young girls lost their lives in the fire, and four adults were taken to local hospitals in serious to critical condition. This was a heartbreaking incident that left the entire community shaken. A GoFundMe has been created to support the Evans family during this difficult time.
