Recently, China National Machinery Industry Corporation's China Heavy Machinery Research Institute (China Heavy Hospital) "Modern Continuous Casting Equipment Core Technology Research and Application Research" passed the identification of technical achievements.
The project carried out 20 key technical researches and carried out experimental research on more than 80 important technical points. These key technologies and patents are secondary innovations after independent innovation and digestion and absorption of foreign advanced technologies. These key technology experimental research and engineering applications mainly include eight aspects of automatic design of continuous bending roller rows. After the actual evaluation, the equipment is running normally, safe and reliable, and the quality of the casting blank is qualified, reaching the international advanced level. Among them, there are breakthroughs and innovations in the automatic design and mathematical model of the continuous bending roller column, the dynamic control model of the slab continuous casting two cold water, the mathematical model and structure of the non-sinusoidal vibration trajectory of the mold.
The key technologies and patents completed by the project have been applied to 9 slabs and 2 continuous casting steels for blooms. The technical equipment has replaced imports, which has achieved significant economic and social benefits and laid the foundation for entering the international market. It also promotes the development of China's continuous casting technology and makes China's steel industry develop into a new type of industrialization. It will certainly play a leading role in the development of continuous casting technology at home and abroad.
