Global auto parts supplier Borg Warner announced on March 22 that in the next five years, BorgWarner's sales in China will increase by 45% annually.
Tim Manganello, global president and CEO of BorgWarner, said: "From the year 2000 to 2009, BorgWarner sales in China increased at an annual average rate of 45%. Before 2014, The BorgWarner China business will continue to maintain this growth rate. We hope that as of 2014, BorgWarner's sales in China will account for more than 15% of the company's global sales."
BorgWarner expects that as of 2014, BorgWarner's sales in Asia will account for the company's global sales ratio will increase from 13% in 2009 to 25%, when the United States and Europe, respectively, sales ratio of 25% and 50%.
