Xi'an Police cracked down on the theft of the "Guangben Accord" series of car thefts

The reporter learned from the press conference held by the Public Security Bureau of Xi’an on the 22nd that after more than one month of careful investigation, the Xi’an police uncovered a series of theft cases involving the theft of the “six-generation Guangben Accord” sedan and accumulated recovery of the stolen Accord. The number of sedan cars was 13 and more than 20 related cases were cracked, recovering nearly 2 million yuan in direct economic losses.

On the morning of the 22nd, the Public Security Bureau of Xi’an City held a handover ceremony at the Economic Development Sub-bureau. The police recovered all 13 stolen Accord sedan cars from the owners.

According to the Xi'an Police, the Public Security Bureau of Xi’an Municipal Public Security Bureau opened the branch in the “2010 Crackdown Campaign” and after more than one month of careful investigation, this criminal gang was captured in one fell swoop. The gang, led by criminal suspect Zhu Peng, specifically stole the “six-generation Guangben Accord” sedan. According to Zhu Peng’s confession, the criminal suspect began stealing cars in order to raise money from 1997, and gradually established a sales network in northern Shaanxi.

At present, Xi'an Municipal Public Security Bureau is still digging through clues and will fully recover the remaining stolen vehicles.
