Key Laboratory of Weichai Engine Reliability was selected as a State Key Laboratory
On October 14, the Ministry of Science and Technology formally announced the list of the third batch of national key laboratories of enterprises. As a leader in the internal combustion engine industry, the Key Laboratory of Reliability of Internal Combustion Engines developed by Weichai passed approval.
In order to further improve the layout of the State Key Laboratory, the construction of the third batch of State Key Laboratories started in 2014. According to the results of the expert review and comments, 75 laboratories, including the Weichai Engine Reliability Laboratory, passed the deliberation.
The Weichai Engine Reliability Laboratory has a total investment of 550 million yuan, a building area of ​​11,200 square meters, and scientific research equipment of 260 million yuan. It can meet the research needs of the entire engine reliability, key component reliability, reliability prediction and evaluation, and so on. It has passed the national C-NAS accreditation and German TÜV accreditation, and the equipment has reached the international advanced and domestic leading level. It is the most complete and most capable laboratory in the same industry in China. The supporting product trial center invested 250 million yuan and has 45 sets of high-precision equipment such as five-axis machining centers and quick-loading trolleys, which can fully meet the demand for test parts; it is equipped with an independent public system station house to ensure wind, electricity, and gas. Oil, cold, warm and other supplies.
There are currently 138 laboratories in the laboratory, including 120 permanent personnel, including 4 national "Thousand Persons Projects", 8 "Taishan Scholars" of the People's Government of Shandong Province, and 50 senior professional titles. Research on reliability, reliability prediction and evaluation techniques are conducted in three directions.
Since the “Twelfth Five-Year Planâ€, the laboratory has successively took on 8 national science and technology plan projects, participated in 6 national science and technology plan projects, led 93 scientific and technological planning projects in Shandong Province, and obtained 14 science and technology progress awards at the provincial and ministerial level. 675 patents were authorized and 47 papers were published, of which 3 papers were included in SCI and 11 papers were included in EI.
The State Key Laboratory of Enterprises is an important part of the national technological innovation system. After deliberation, the Weichai IC Reliability Laboratory will focus on the needs of the society and the future development of the industry, carry out basic research and pre-competitive common technical research, study and formulate international standards, national and industry standards, and gather and train outstanding talents.
