The "Elemental Component Non-contact Rapid Analyzer" project overcomes key technologies such as laser plasma long-distance excitation, long-range efficient collection of plasma emission, low signal-to-noise ratio, and feature extraction of weak spectral signals, achieving the requirements of the implementation plan. The developed instrument uses double-pulse laser-induced plasma technology to enhance the plasma signal, and combines the Cassegrain telescope structure to efficiently collect long-distance signals, breaking through the difficulties of long-distance excitation and detection, and adopting wavelet filtering to change the threshold and change the decomposition layer. The number method improves the signal-to-noise ratio, uses an optimized curve fitting method to separate overlapping peaks, and uses range feedback to correct the calibration model, improving the quantitative measurement accuracy. Instruments and equipments were used in demonstration applications at the Institute of Metals of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Fushun New Steel Co., Ltd. to meet the on-site use requirements and gain user approval.
Relevant research results have been applied in many applications such as iron and steel smelting, aluminum alloys, electrolytic aluminum, and copper smelting.
